New here and todays my quit date!!!

Welcome! It shouldn't take you long to create a new "unwind" time for yourself. Maybe that old smoke time should be your "soak in the tub" time or something like that. Or talk your husband into a massage for awhile, until you break that habit. Remember to drink lots of water to flush out that nasty nicotine. You will feel alot better once you are not smoking anymore! I cannot believe the difference in the way I feel and look and smell. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/8/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 30 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 456 Amount Saved: $126 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 19 Mins: 32 Seconds: 31

I did a Week!!

You are doing so good! Congrats with everything. I was more calm , and remain more calm, since I quit smoking. It is the strangest thing. I am chucking it up to the stimulant in nicotine. Any way - great rewards for yourself. You deserve them. Keep up with the positive quit! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/8/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 30 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 460 Amount Saved: $126 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 20 Mins: 10 Seconds: 21

Methods & Withdrawals

Well I am happy to see that everyone is happy! I wasn't pointing any fingers, just thought I noticed a trend. Maybe not though. Investigation closed, I will stick with my day job. Chicknoodle, sorry about your gas leak! That is funny. Haven't heard of that symptom. Maybe you should start a new thread and we can take a vote on that problem! My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/8/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 32 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 494 Amount Saved: $134.4 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 1 Mins: 11 Seconds: 19
