You found the right place to be! Each time I would crave, I found that reading and posting took my mind off the crave. I quit cold turkey too, don't forget to drink lots of water to get that nicotine out of your body! Keep us posted on how you are doing, also, there is a Monday Parade and other fun things to take part in on this site. My husband thinks I have lost it but these small things really have helped me stay excited about my quit. :p

Wow, I hadn't heard about the storms yet. Glad that you are okay Rainie. If you didn't smoke through that, you can get through anything.

I have been putting forth more effort in my appearance too! I think it is because #1 - we have more time since we are not smoking, and #2 - we feel so much better on the inside, why not show it off on the outside.
I think that my skin looks alot better now, no more bags under my eyes. I think that I don't look "tired" anymore. Has anyone else noticed that?

Good job! Being part of a team does help with the craves, questions, ect. I want to know what you are going to do with the money that has accumulated on your quit meter? I have decided when I hit the six month mark I am going to buy the camera I have been admiring for the past few years. (And still have some change!!!!) Nice to meet you! ;)
