Willing to mentor

Hold the phone partner in crime. Hello Marie, allow me to introduse myself. My name is jaset, the pisser off of all sort to speak! lol. J/K. Marie, a smoke after a great meal is the altimate! But to be with smokers during that great meal is even better. That is, until you have taken the step towards living. Now your friends are your friend and we certainly cant give up the people that we love, now can we? But, we can look at them while they smoke and think to ourselves that they are in for a life of misery and torture. Use those friends to enhance your quit. Look at them drag on the cig and then look at them blow it out. Dont forget to listen to the sudden cough as the exhale. But keep in mind that they are your friends for sure. Look at there fingers to. A little brown? Sure, why not? You controll your urge, you dont concintrate on there urge. You have your own to deal with. You will notice how great you feel to be among smokers once you can control your urge. Your urge is all that matter. You will feel great when you are among other smokers. Thats because you are in control and you know what will happen to you if you continue to invade your lungs with cancer. So be proud of your urge and how you will kill it. Jaset

Understanding the Causes of Slips and how to Prevent them

Well, here goes my 2 cents! Look out. Slip us suck! For me, I re-enforce my quit when ever I get down. I always go back to the reason why I quit. The pain and suffering I will go through if I give in. The lives that I will destroy and the look on my girls faces. The thought of my Gina walking down the isle with a step fathers arm. The name on my head stone that will probably read, " gone, coundnt do it". Thats my reason for not slipping up, and Iam being kind. Whats yours? Helo lizzies mom. Drove to Michigan during my first month of my quit. Blasted the tunes, kept opening and closing the window and sucked on water for 5 hours. Time passed and I got through it. You will to. I kept on teling myself that I made it this far, lets go another 20 miles. I also kept telling myself I dont smoke no more! And low and behold, I made it.
