I made it through another day - whoo hoo!! Last night I had a rough spot, but I made it through (after apologizing to my kids for going bezerk). Today I think I got it. I now know the feeling will probably never go away for a long, long time. The feeling I think I get is getting mad at the world for having to go through this day after day after day. Some days are easier to deal with it and others, take some digging deep within. The key for me this time is knowing that I can have a cigarette if I want, BUT I CHOOSE NOT TO ANYMORE. Gosh I hope this attitude stays with me!!

Hi Mookie. Hang in there. It's been tough for me too. This morning I felt angry at the world. It didn't last too long and now I'm good. That little voice in our heads (the nicodemon)is trying to get us to beleive we are too weak to keep this quit. I will not give into that little booger this time. I know if I fail this quit the next quit will be just as hard and I am determined to win the battle now not later!!. Reading this site and having all the support of people who have been down the road I'm headed, helps me to keep my head clear.
Good luck to all of us.

Me too!! I just can't seem to shake this craving. It's lasted for 3 hours so far. I even tried to nap to get rid of it, but got woken up. This sux so bad. I just made myself a cocktail. That will either relax me or push me farther into a craving.

Welcome Matt. This quit for me feels different too. Not sure why, but I think I was really ready to say goodbye to those %#@^ing little sticks for good. Still tough but I am determined this time. Stay strong and read here often as it really helps to know we are not alone in our struggle.
Stay strong!!

Welcome Sullydog. This is the best to get with quitting. I'm new here too, but there are so many others here that have been down the road we'll be traveling, and they are wonderful inspirations!! Hang in there and stay strong.
