Hello everyone. Well I'm on day 8 and doing okay. What my brain won't tell me to try and get me to have a smoke. Today I feel sad for never being able to smoke again, what the heck is that all about??? Like I really want to? Hopefully my attitude will change after reading here for awhile and set my brain straight.
Staying strong and loving it!!

Good work staying strong Rabbit. Day 5 was the hardest for me too so far. I wanted to cry and the feeling just seemed to be so great. But as always, it passed and I've been okay since then. Hang in there and fight cause to me this is the best thing I've done for me and my family.
Stay strong, stay quit.

I need support in the weight area too, and I'm not talking about a girdle. Trying to walk with the kids after dinner, but that seems to be all the excercise I can fit in right now. I'm off of work next week so hopefully I can get on the bikes.

Hi Mama. Glad you're doing better. It is an up & down battle that's for sure. So weird how we're fine one hour and then the next like we're in a different world. My 5th day was the worst. The craving seemed to last 24 hours, then it just disappeared (thank the Lord). I have been fine ever since. Yes I do get cravings, but I remember that this is my choice and it's a MIGHTY FINE CHOICE!! I remember why I don't want to smoke and how I don't want to go back to day 1 ever again.
Stay strong !!
