Hi RD man. DO NOT GIVE IN. It will be a struggle for a long time. I know this from past quits. It seems like you are at a lull. In the beginning it is exciting as you are strong and want to beat the Nicodemon, but as time goes on, it gets mundane and sometimes seems like it would just be easier to give in and finally be able to get away from the relentless mind games the beast plays with your head.
Be strong and somehow find the fight exciting again!! Read and post here often, I know it helps me to find the strength when I don't think I have any fight left.
Stay strong - Stay Quit!!

Hi everyone, I'm still hanging on!! Was away from my computer this past week, and really missed everyone!! Hope everyone is doing good with their quits. I still want a cig almost everyday, but I can shake those thoughts much quicker now. The thought of going back to day 1 is what keeps me from lighting up as well as my kids finally realized I haven't been smoking and the thought of losing my 8 year old sons respect, would kill me.
Glad to be back - reading all your posts really motivates me too!!

Great job!! It ain't easy, but every day is different. Hang in there. Choose to stay quit, choose not to go back to that disgusting, unhealthy, stinky habit. Choose life - choose living. Choose not to have to start at day 1 ever agian!!
Stay strong - stay quit.

Hang in there Lady. I was going to start a new post to describe the hell day I'm having myself, but thought your post would be just the same since you're feeling the same as I am. Funny how the nicodemon can almost get us to give in. I've been looking for a fight with anyone today. I think so I can use them as the scapegoat for me giving in. I will not give in !! I will not start over from day 1. It will not make me feel better, it will make me feel worse for giving in.
Lady you can this, you are so close to a year of freedom. DO NOT smoke. Go to bed until the morning if taht's what it will take for you not to smoke.
Hold On To Your QUIT.
Prayers are being sent your way!!
