H.R. Pufnstuf, who's your friend when things get rough?
H.R. Pufnstuf, can't do a little, 'cause you can't do enough!
It was about a little boy with a magical flute. Although kind of fitting to smokers, eh?

ArwensM,
My blood pressure used to always on the low side of normal. Now after almost 11 months quit, I'm actually being treated for high blood pressure. Now, I have a lot of other factors going on besides quitting that could be messing with it. My point is...monitoring your bp is a good idea. Seeing your doc if it goes too high or too low is in order, no matter the possible cause.
Keep it going...

hi kat,
yes, unfortunately, hot flashes seem to be a symptom of quitting also. Although, from my observations, women seems to be more likely to get them & also those who use aids (wellbutrin or NRT's) That's just my perception with no stastistics to back it up. I also wondered if it was peri-menopause until others had the same complaint.
as usual, I'll throw in the SSC line that if it persists or seems worse than expected, have a doc check it out.
congrats on that beautiful 16 days!

You sound so much like I felt when I first quit. I can't tell you how many times i just wanted the whole world to stop until i got passed all the &*^(*.
It's hard to explain to our little ones that Mommy needs a break from them. I would tell them that I needed quiet time and would go in my room and close the door (and spend the entire time crying). If they were quiet till I came out, they got a treat.
My hubby was great about taking the kids when I needed a break. Maybe you could work it out with yours to take sole responsibility for the kids for 30 minutes when he gets home each night. That could be your bath time. It would be great to have that reward to look forward to!
you CAN do this! it gets better.
