patches or not

althea, At 19 days quit O can't see re-introducing the nicotine to your body. you would be starting cravings all over again. During this 3rd week, it seems the addiction works real hard at getting it's foot back in the door. Please keep strong, things really will start getting easier. (That said, if it's a choice bewtween cigs or the patch, I'd choose the patch.) Keep it going... ~lbugg~

depressed... right on cue @ 30

hey todd, I can't help with the heart...other than give it time. As far as smoking...congrats on making it thus far especially with the emotional turmoil going on. Do yourself a favor, hon...reward yourself for your 30 days. One month is awesome! and something to be celebrated. You need to rewire your brain to think of not smoking as good thing. Make Saturday "do something special for Todd day"! It doesn't matter if it's just something you like to do or if it's something you spend your savings on! The only catch is...it has to be something that brings a smile to your face! Oh...and check out the depression site. There's alot to be learned ther, too. Talk to your doc is continues much longer.
