Spring Ahead

Decluttering was going to be my exciting answer that goes with spring.

I find it hard to let go of things, so things just surround me and I had to ask my brother for help.  He makes it look easy, and that is consoling.   I nearly fell over one area, since it seemed there was so much more space after cleaning!

My finances are a mess too.

Does anybody find spring cleaning gets them discouraged?

Earthquakes

I share the need to be compassionate, within limits.
One year, during my annual 40 day religious abstinence, I gave up watching tv.  I missed an entire war, in the Gulf, in approximately 1990-1. Although I missed something historical, I probably was a better person for not being glued to a tv, like others.  I also felt mentally clear afterwards, and just didn't have this information to discuss at work with colleagues.
It's hard to have reach that mental clarity now, with the advent of computers.

It's wise to be seeing a medical doctor if you have medical issues and anxiety.  I find it judge to keep the physical symptoms because I can't be objective about them being "real".
It's wonderful when you get out and do stuff, though.
Was it too much for you at one time....?

Freaking out

Ducky,
Sounds like a great relief.
Anxiety is anticipation holding it's breath.

What brings you down to earth, grounds you or calms you?  What would you suggest to someone else in your place?

With medical questions, it's best, as we have medical issues, to ask professionals.  Dieticians and nutritionists are a great source of information for food-related questions.  In Ontario, there are toll-free lines, and websites you can google where they give you sound information.  Dieticians & nutritions can complement our physicians' health plan.

Freaking out

Ducky,
Anxiety is like a tunnel, so take the train through tunnel and enjoy the exhilaration as you pass through - life is usually dreary for most people.
It's also like an ocean wave, so hop on the board and enjoy that ride...we all wish we were with you....

Mood-enhancing foods

Jucing might help until your stomach is better.  Presentation was important, I learned recently.

Try looking at this in google, and your appetite will be jump-started: "camemberu Global Kitchen Sunday Champagne Brunch".

Mood-enhancing foods

Dr Farvolden(under the "Ask the Expert" toolbar)speaks to your concern about caffeine this month, while you wait out an appointment to your family physician, as Tiana suggested.

Also, under the toolbar, is an entirely other programme for a healthy weight management programme under "More Help", while you're biding your time before seeing a physician.

So much to learn, and so much to do with Spring around the corner...that doesn't help the knot in my stomach either!
