Can you believe it!!??? (It tasted soooooooooooooooooo good!!) Today I was back to my 1262 calories and regular exercise. Will be interesting on weigh in day - Saturday! Hi All Missthing - I remember lying in bed one night totally depressed contemplating liposuction. I have to admit that I am a little baffled because you are doing everything right...Your calorie intake is good, you are getting lots of exercise (Your body just doesn't seem to be cooperating) Are you perhaps losing inches but not losing pounds? One tiny wee lady at the gym said that when she started exercising her weight didn't change but she lost tons of inches... I know absolutely NOTHING about eating habits so perhaps a Nutritionist or (at least) somebody at your gym could help. Yesterday - No exercise for me....1554 calories (61.4% carb, 24.6% fat, 14 % protein) I think I'll wait till tomorrow to weigh in......... Well - This is the first time during my 2 1/2 weeks of watching my diet that I have actually not eaten ENOUGH calories! (Woooweee) The internet site graphs our calories, carbs, fat, protein etc and I was too low... (I'll make up for it tomorrow) 1073 calories 57.1 % carbs 21.8 % fat 21.1 % protein Did a 30 minute cardio-blast class and 10 mins abs before work... 154 lbs...19 more to gooooooooo! Haven't been weighing myself - It takes too long to lose a pound so once a week is plenty (I find myself regretting all those BAD choices that I made over the years) One amazing thing about quitting smoking is that I really have regained my sense of taste. I can actually enjoy a potato with absolutely nothing on it (never thought that would happen) I have also found that I have to exercise to manage my stress...I notice a big difference on days with no workout. Today was pretty good - 1400 calories 59.5 % carbs 19.7 % protein 10.7 % fats I am starting to learn abit more abit eating habits...It is phenomenal how much difference there is in calories/fat/cholesteral when using low fat and whole wheat foods rather than regular. I still haven't mastered "portion size" so I notice a big difference in calories if I eat in or eat out. Hi Platinum - I'm actually trying to stay over 1200 calories.....I have only been under twice in the last month. I've also been over 2000 in one day....so I think it averages out in the long run. Last week I was consistently between 1200 and 1600....this week up and down....I am just catching onto the calorie thing....but I'll get there! hi butterfly - I have a different site that I go to but it might be the same idea...I will check into yours too. I don't usually go by their meal plans and I'm not actually weighing my food...mostly guessing (so I might be off abit) They do calculate the number of calories for what I eat....there is where my learning curve is. Sometimes I can have a very small portion of something and go off the chart (i.e. potato chips) or a very large portion of something (i.e. vegetarian chili) and have hardly any calories at all. I am kinda learning as I go along...I eat something...calculate it and go "Oooops - Too much of that" or vise versa - I eat less and find out that I could have had more. Yesterday was my first try with the chili which is why I was kinda low (Hmmm...guess that's why I was a tad hungry when I got up this morning) Learning as I go along........
