Well - Apparently you can't eat out 3 times in one week, go away on the weekend (eat and drink everything in sight), skip your exercise WITHOUT gaining weight...back up to 152 (but I'm afraid I deserve it) Friday - 2620 Saturday - 2036 Today - 1024 Did 60 mins of cardio plus lower body weights....back to healthy diet and back to gym again tomorrow morning...... Hi Lilly - I love ranting and venting ... glad to join in anytime! This weight loss thing is a challenge for sure...I really don't think the world is weight loss friendly (I havent figured out how other people live in it and remain skinny) Perhaps if I just move by myself to a desserted island, I will be able to stay on track. Oh well...today was a good day - 1280 calories 55.9 carb 20.4 protein 23.6 fat 20 mins cardio and about 30 mins weights...it will be interesting to see if mixing cardio with weights results in more weight loss or less... Weighed in at work - Down a lb (146)....Weight seems to be fluctuating alot more than before... Today no gym - Calories 1524 Carbs - 60.2 % Protein - 17 % Fat - 22.8 % We had a HUGE lunch today so it's a fruit smoothy and popcorn for supper. Oh well - whatever works! Thanks Silly - I think you're right...it may have been water. Today was 1327 calories 55.6 % carb 23.9 % protein 20.5 % fat Did 40 minutes cardio and 20 minutes strength training...... No lbs lost this week - Weigh in at work tomorrow.. No gym for me today 1516 calories 51.6 % carbs 25.1 % protein 23.3 % fat I was talking to a friend (who recently went to the gym with me)about the fact that I gained a couple pounds. She thought that with all the extra weight lifting/strength training that I am doing, that I may be gaining more muscle...I don't know?? I decided to measure myself and I am down another 1/2 inch in waist and hips so maybe so.... On the other hand, it's not like I'm lifting HUGE weights so I can't imagine that I have gained that much muscle... Any ideas? Well...I'm not quite sure how this happened (I was bad on Friday but not THAT bad)....Anyway...I seem to be back up a couple pounds (Go figure?) Anyway for today - 1442 calories 52% carb 25.9 % protein 22.1 % fat Did another day of 60 mins cardio and about 30 mins lower body strength training...taking the day off at the gym tomorrow... Hi Lainey - I've heard of the South Beach diet but I've never tried it. I did the "Girls Night Out" Diet and topped out well over 3000 calories yesterday (although I did 25 mins of cardio and a whole lot of strength training in the morning) Today, I do believe I will be 1436 calories (including popcorn and 2 glasses of wine tonight) I did 60 minutes of cardio (penance for last night) and lower body weight training today... Hmmm...yesterday I was under 1500 calories (no exercise) and today I was over 1500 calories (with a heavy duty workout class at lunch)....wonder which one is best. Weight was 146 today....so I'm down 16 lbs from my preChristmas weight of 162.
