So hope that you're right, Danielle, I really don't want to carry around this extra 20lbs plus for longer than I need!! Marie, my son is arriving in Banff in January next year. I've just been looking at the map and I'd forgotten just how vast Canada is. You're country is HUGE!! My son has just gone 3 days without a cigarette, he hasn't announced that he's quit, I think he's keeping it low key but it's encouraging. I remember reading one of your posts saying that your husband doesn't smoke, do you have sons and daughters who are smoke free? Bien amicalement, Marie, t'amie Lilly :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/11/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 170 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,120 Amount Saved: 850 Life Gained: Days: 22 Hrs: 3 Mins: 13 Seconds: 25

Lilly & Marie, That's the way to go! Slow & sensible. Just keep telling yourself it's only temporary. Keep persevering! Danielle _____________________ The SSC Support Team

Lilly, Very understandable. It will come off and if you lose it slowly it will stay off. If you don't feel like your making enough progress, you could have your MD help or refer you to a professional for some extra supervision and counsel. Stay strong. Just keep telling yourself : temporary Danielle ____________________ The SSC Support Team

I don't own a scale, never did and sure as heck are not going to get one now. I just know I weight more and will continue my treadmilling as if nothing has happened. And I also will continue to eat dark chocolate raspberry filled candies, because they are a reward. So while I watch, I also treat. :) CobenFan My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 218 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,718 Amount Saved: $763 Life Gained: Days: 20 Hrs: 5 Mins: 46 Seconds: 25

I want in on this too! What a great idea. However, I can't remember the last time I got on a scale, so I will have to post my current weight next week. My goal weight is between 100 and 105 lbs. I know my before weight was around 110 and 115 lbs. I've been jogging/race walking for 45 minutes to an hour at least 3-4 times a week, so I'm hoping that I have gained much weight, but I have been finding myself eating a little bit more. Well, I hope that you all will have a great weekend and I'll be back on Monday. PS - Since tomorrow is my 21st day smoke free, I'm going to the mall after work and buying some perfume ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/15/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 20 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 310 Amount Saved: $80 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 11 Mins: 19 Seconds: 6
