4my2girls, Planning is a very good strategy! How about homemade soups, it will keep your hands busy for a little bit and it keeps forever if you freeze it. Consult your doctor about your blood sugar. If it's bouncing up & down, it should be overseen by an MD. Danielle ___________________________________ The SSC Support Team

Thanks Danielle and Nosmo King, Yes, I rest my goal to a more realistic 2 to 4 pounds a week. Craving cigs hard right now. Good thing I threw away and broke my last cigs. Off for a walk- I know walking helps to control the urges.

Thanks Breaking Free for the offer to join. So my goal was to loose 7 tp 10 pounds this week. Other members have convinced me that, that's insane- The darn scale isn't cooperating either. Saturday, I was in the hot garage or my backyard all day. Sweat was, literelly, pouring off of me. You would think I'd wake up on Sunday with a weight loss of 2 or 3 pounds. The needle on the scale didn't move--- very frustrating. I am not going to give up on this, if nothing else, I am at least building muscle. So I'll walk tonight. Drinking lots of water today and half a Mountain Dew (whoops- that's probably not the best idea) ;)

I am doing well. I started back on my work out yesterday so I know it will be a few weeks before anything happens! I took about 3-4 weeks off so I gotta get back into it! I did so well all day and then I ate a bowl of ice cream and had some cookies! Ugh! I am such a sweets gal and I have a hard time finding things that quench that craving without busting up my diet! I totally support what you all are doing here - but the moderators will most likely remove the posts and/or website. We're not allowed to post other web sites (only describe them). Um, so good luck with this. I have nothing to report for this BTW - as I have only FOUND pounds -- LOL. How is everybody doing? I can see that we all have slowed down on the posting thing ~~~~~ Me included. I cannot seem to post daily of my eating habits. Does anybody feel like at certain points of the day, that you tell yourself, "the heck with this" and gorge on something??? I do, and I hate it. It doesn't come at the same time everyday, but some time in the day, I've learned to expect it. Maybe my stress hit a rock and I have taught myself to relieve it by gorging. I've been eating very well for the past few days. I've even managed to cut down my portion size a little. The only problem I have is the gorging part of my day. I do believe that a pound has been lost. I feel a lot better, and yesterday night I went to my Pilates class and pushed myself. I needed that. I'm not even sore today, but last night I could feel it. I love feeling like I've worked hard. Anyhow, take care everyone. Hope tomorrows weigh in is good. ;) 4my2girls What Consumes Your Thoughts Controls Your Life My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 101 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,043 Amount Saved: $330.27 Life Gained: Days: 8 Hrs: 3 Mins: 52 Seconds: 54

Oh man is it hot here!!!.......... I ate pretty well yesterday. Had some cold-cuts, fruit and veggies. However, I did eat a piece of cake. Oh well. I didn't have time to go swimming yesterday. The baby shower ran late. Went out to eat sushi for dinner. So, I basically got no exercize!! :( Sometimes it is hard to find the time. I know I have to. But being that it is so dang hot here, and it was 87 degrees when I went to bed............... how can I actually go outside and walk?? Oh, wait........ I own a treadmill. I guess I will go dust it off. ;) 4my2girls What Consumes Your Thoughts Controls Your Life My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 92 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,773 Amount Saved: $300.84 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 10 Mins: 29 Seconds: 38
