You know, I have come to the conclusion that if I plan, I am more likely to eat healthy. I mean, my fridge is full of veggies (I love them) but I end up throwing a lot of them away. I hate shopping, so I buy quite a few because they sound so good when I am at the store. But then they will sit.......... Why???? I get all gung-ho with the healthy thingy, then it turns sour. I get really tired. But if I actually plan the lunch and dinner, I am more likely to eat healthier. It is a lot of work though, to come up with different ideas. Not just sandwiches. I need to watch my blood sugar more closely. I should get a meter. I go really up, then I come really down ~ hard. I'm assuming it is my blood sugar. Any ideas on lunches??? Okay, I had a GREAT day yesterday!! I had my coffee in the morning, then shuffled the kids off to gymnastics.... I forgot to grab my usual granola bar, so I was starving!!! I managed to guzzle a huge water bottle to tie me over though. After gymnastics, we had to go to a birthday party...... When we got there, it was SOOOOOOOO hot (100 degrees here!!) so I munched on cold veggies!!! YAY!!!! It did really feel refreshing!!! I also guzzled another water. Then I decided I was too hot to do anything, so I got into my bathing suit, but just before I was going to jump in, my hamburger was ready......... So I had a hamburger patty (no bun), some more veggies, and some cold fruit. Oh, and another water. I only took a couple of bites of the patty, but ate all of the fruit and veggies. Then I just couldn't take it anymore. I went and jumped into the pool. That was it. 4 hours swimming. I didn't eat the cake or anything. I was so drained!!!!!!! When I got home, I was starving, but too tired to fix anything. I grabbed a handful of almonds and a water bottle, and just relaxed. Then gabbed another water bottle, and went to bed. Sorry this is so long, but I am actually proud of myself!! I have a baby shower to go to today, but after that, I am going swimming again!! It is supposed to be over 100 degrees again today!! ;) 4my2girls What Consumes Your Thoughts Controls Your Life My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 91 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,745 Amount Saved: $297.57 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 8 Mins: 44 Seconds: 3

Previous weight: 159 pounds Current weight: 181 pounds Goal weight: 115 pounds Holy cow, yes, that is what I am. 22lbs gained since I quit smoking. Can any of it be water???? lol You'll have to excuse my blubberness, but I really had another bad day yesterday. Not only eating, but emotional as well. I posted, and I thought I felt better, but I need to learn how to calm down. So, I ate so far today: 3 cups coffee, and egg, bacon, cheese on wheat crust (cal:140, fat:20g, carb:41g, sugar:4g, fiber:2g, and protein:18g) Not too bad, but at least it is not the cookie dough that is staring at me..................... For lunch, I am making tuna (w/lite mayo & pickles) on whole wheat pita bread w/alfalfa sprouts, sliced tomatoes, & mustard. And a small cesear salad on the side. Oh, and a few slices of a pear, and some re-heated grilled veggies. Okay, seeing my fatness, well I am determined to do this again. I must learn to eat breakfast, snack, lunch, snack & dinner. I was always eating around twice a day, but LOTS................. Reality check here....... ;) 4my2girls What Consumes Your Thoughts Controls Your Life My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 95 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,864 Amount Saved: $310.65 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 16 Mins: 25 Seconds: 8

Thank you BF!!! Those sound yummy!!!!!!! I had a terrible day yesterday........... 2 chocolate chip cookie bars 1 peanut butter cookie bar That was my lunch. Then for dinner I wolfed down 4 tacos from Jack In the Box. I'm terrified to get on the scale............... The only good thing I did yesterday was my Pilates class. I love it!!!! Today is daycare day, so it usually means better eating, and lots of running around for exercise!!! Thanks Stoppin, Breaking Free & Danielle!! I had forgotten about the cheese/meat things!! I used to eat Turkey with cream cheese spread on it and then roll it up. That was my favorite. Breaking Free ~ how do I prepare fruit?? What do I do with them after I wash them?? I do keep fruit in the fridge because it gets so hot here. I hardly run my air conditioner becuz it is too expensive. My last electric bill was $225.00, and that is without the air!!! When I run my air, I can expect a $350 bill for that month. Its crazy!!!! When school gets out, I will be at my mother-in-laws house everyday swimming. So I won't have to hang around here. OOOHHHHH NOOOOOOOOOO ~ the thought just occured. HOW AM I GOING TO GET TO THE SSC?????? Oh my, my....... FEAR I think I have lost my mind today. ;) 4my2girls What Consumes Your Thoughts Controls Your Life My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 93 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,804 Amount Saved: $304.11 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 12 Mins: 32 Seconds: 46

Ok I'll give it a go as well, don't have a counter and don't know my weight at the moment but will sort that out over the weekend. Went to the gym last night (30 mins cardio, 20 mins resistance) and will go on Saturday and Sunday. I am also watching what I eat and my alcohol intake. My vacation is booked for early September and want to be in some kind of shape for then. Breaking Free, I won't be back for awhile. We had sent our computer in to be repaired and it was there for the last 2 weeks. Now it has to go back again and don't know when we will get it back. So for now I'm 156 and my goal is 130. I'm walking, biking, and swimming. Hi losing gang, Okay, I didn't have the best diet today. I was on the road looking at boats so I did the fast food thing. I didn't eat until 3:00 this afternoon, I know, not a good thing. When I got home had salmon and salad. Better!
