Day 2 and doing OK

OK, One more try, you still being strong? Haven't seen anything from you today. I hope you're doing well. 8 more hours will be 5 full days for me. I don't know if I'm looking forward to the weekend or not. Day 2 and doing OK

Sounds like you've got a handle on yourself. Good for you! It's always good to let people know where you stand. Yeah, my wife still isn't smoking as well, but now every time we talk to each other, she's biting my head off. She says it's got nothing to do with her quit. I think we all know better. That's OK. I'll take her out to dinner tonight. I figure if we can get through the weekend, it should all be downhill? I hope so. Good luck, and keep posting over the weekend. ] sprquits, keep it going, and keep posting. I have a feeling I'll need some uplifting this weekend. Losing it.

6:00 on Saturday. What am I doing up? Last night was extremely tough. I wanted a beer after dinner. My wife said if I get beer, she's getting cigarettes. So we were both miserable all night. This morning, I woke up wanting a smoke more then ever. I didn't make coffee yet, as this is a big trigger, but I don't want any more juice. I think that at this point, I really am going to lose it. Hope you're doing better one more try. Losing it.

Thanks guys, I guess the garlic in your space could set you off, that makes my dilemma seem like nothing. My wife is cleaning the garage, while I'm trying to get some other things done today. Every time I get near her she's yelling at me that she wants a smoke. I do to, but I know in my heart it's not what I really want. Man, this is tougher now than it was on Monday. OMT, and sprquits, I believe that you're my strength at this point. I will not give in, and hopefully my wife will stop yelling, and give me a chance to yell. Let me know how it's going with you guys. Remember.... Failure is not an Option. Losing it.

Can you believe? 1 week tomorrow. Today has been excruciating. I almost broke down and bought a pack. Thank god for my wife. She quit on Monday, and after we did so much work on the garage, she suggested I go get some beer. This I did. No smokes for either of us though. I know how much she likes different treats, so I got some of her favorites as well. We may end up gaining a few pounds, but we'll be at the gym again tomorrow. Thanks again for the support of this incredible team. I feel very close to people I've never met, and have only associated with for...1 week in 26 hours. Losing it.

Good Morning!! I forgot to set the clocks back. Feeling pretty good today. Tonight will be a full week. Way to go team!! OMT, sprquits, you're the best. Martha, Tresa, JDK, Alohakeia, I hope I haven't left anyone out, Thanks for being here. I know most of you guys have been smokeless for a while now, but your continued support is quite an inspiration. I know we still have a way to go to be "out of the woods", but checking in here often, and posting our complaints and fears, makes the quit a little easier to deal with. I was smoking two packs a day! Just DO IT!!!!

Hey wazz, No one acknowledged this is your 1st day. Way to go! Listen, I've smoked for 35 years, the last 5 were 2 packs a day. I think it's great that Josh was able to make an easy quit. The fact is, if I hadn't found this site, I'd probably still be smoking. The people here know what to say, and how to relate to each person's quit. Today is my first full week, and I am eternally grateful to the people here. Losing it.

Thanks again all for the 1st week help. I feel very fortunate to have found you guys. I really want to know how one more try and sprquits made out this weekend. You guys are the ones that made me strong. I spent most of today with my guitar, so I couldn't think of smoking. Whenever I got the urge, I tried to learn another song. This was some advice I got from a guy I work with. He told me, if I want to smoke, pick up my guitar. I've played about 5 hours today. If I keep this up, I'll put Clapton to shame. Goofy Tomorrow, it's back to work. Less to worry about? No smokes My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/28/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 7 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 280 Amount Saved: $44.10 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 8 Mins: 25 Seconds: 31
