I slipped ..... :(

Gee......I don't know.... One more try, I think it would extremely selfish of the rest of the Octobreathers to exclude you from celebrating. You were my and sprquits strength through the roughest part of our quits. Anyone can go of track. Well those are my thoughts. Day 1 - this is HARD

You've heard the expression, "If was easy, everyone would do it." I think it holds more true for us addicted to nicotine. Today is day 29 for me, and it's still not easy. We get a lot of help from everyone here. The best suggestion that I followed was to change something in my daily routine. It really does alleviate at least one or two triggers. Remember to pay a lot of attention to what so many successful quitters have to say, and post often. Don't hesitate to ask for help. Everyone here wants to see you succeed. I slipped ..... :(

Hi Jodi, I'm wondering if we should resent the fact that One more try thought we'd let her go. I think she'd better understand that we're all in this for the long haul. I expect to know how things are going for all Octobreathers for quite a long time. I'm also waiting to hear how sprquits is getting along. 6 weeks=10 pounds

It's always swimsuit weather! I started eating like mad, and I still eat all day. My problem is that by the time I get home from work, I don't want to go to the gym. I'm starting the new routine tonight. I figure, the one month it took to start feeling sort of normal, it's time to forge ahead. Our second month should be the start of something greater. Octobreathers, it's almost December!

Are you serious? This is a big, big deal!!! I can't believe how fast this non-smoking month went. I owe it all to you, the SSC, especially you one more try. Also I don't want to forget how much sprquits, and Jodi helped. Thanks to all. Chantix user

Way to go Charel! I just realized that your quit date is 3 days before mine, so congratulations on your 1st month. All the Octobreathers should be proud of how we're already getting into December, and we're not giving in to nicotine. Day 2 and really craving

Boy, did you come to the right place! First I'd like to say welcome, and right now is the hardest part of your quit. The thing I did, and so many others have, is when we had the urge to smoke, we let our fingers do the walking right here. I was fortunate to have two others on line here quit within 12 hours of each other. We kept in very close contact on SSC. This gave me the willpower to stay quit. I smoked for 35 years, and these people here can see you through the toughest trials. Congratulations on the fist step Charlotte, and don't hesitate to post often and ask for help. Octobreathers, it's almost December!

I see Jodi is logged in, I haven't seen a post from her yet. I don't know about the other Octobreathers. I trust they have good, strong quits going. Damn it - can I say that here?

Terri, What they said....the biggest thing right now, is to calmly regroup. I've only be smoke free for a month, and feel like I could cave in as well. The thing is....we're a lot bigger than those little sticks that had control of our lives for so long. Take some deep breaths, and continue.
