I'm still here. I had a break-through this morning. Well...kinda....I got really angry at someone at work (brought on my nicotine withdrawl?...probably not, but I know it had something to do with my reaction) The thing is I did something completely out of character for me. I stood up for myself! I usually am the quiet, agreeable person who takes what is given to her, even when it's crap. Well, today there was someone who was being an (insert bad word here) not very nice person and instead of letting that individual intimidate me, I voiced my opinion. In a very assertive way! Anyway, I should leave out the details, but I am still in shock that I said some things. But, don't worry, it wasn't anything inappropriate. In fact, a lot of people have complimented me on the way I handled the situation. :)
As for the cigarettes, I am still holding out and feeling better every day. You doing alright today Goofy? How about your wife?
Sprquits, keep us posted on your quit too!
I am looking forward to the weekend, but at the same time nervous. It's a lot of spare time to not think about smoking. Good luck to us all!
