Day 2 and doing OK

Funny you should ask, Martha. I just updated my timeshare. The savings from smoking, covers the increased expense. I'm going to take an extended weekend at the beach with the 1st months savings. You two are doing great! I know it seems like time almost stops for the first week or so but you are racking up the days like nobody's business. Got any rewards planned? Thanks everyone, this is without a doubt the toughest challenge I've had in my life. I'm sure with all this support, we'll do it. I'm approaching the 41st hour. My biggest problem so far was not getting any sleep last night. The next problem is just wanting to smoke all day and not being able to properly concentrate on my work. One more try, Congratulations on your first day! It's fairly common to be tired in the beginning of your quit for the following reasons: * You have more oxygen circulating in your blood * Your metabolism rate has dropped * Nicotine is a stimulant This is temporary and it will pass. Hang in there and enjoy yoga class! Danielle, Bilingual Support Specialist

OK, I've got through my first day without a cigarette and still feeling great about not smoking! Yesterday I was so tired and had no energy. I am hopeful that today will be better and I have enough energy for the gym. Tonight is yoga class!
