Another night full of dreams

Funny! I had a great one last night that included a bat and my ex-husband - I was chasing him and he was running and crying. I woke up and told my husband that I have decided to take Chantix for the rest of my life if I keep having dreams like that~! Better to enjoy them than complain about 'em. And I lived for these?

My favorite is Formaldehyde. I bet with all I smoked I could be buried now and would be pretty as a peach still in 20 years! I am now a research addict. Not that I didn't know the facts - heck I even read about them when I puffed away but it is definitely reaffirming! Day Two, uncertainty abounds.

Hi Tryagain! Glad you are keeping the quit! As you can see by my icon, I live with suckers, but they are sugar free. I also have low fat mozzarella sticks - They help the hand to mouth fix alot. Hang tough! One Day for each Year

What an inspiration Blue Cloud! I also am glad unhooked is back - You can't have too many WoooooooooHooooooo's! I LOVE that you are into your IPOD - Part of my quit was joining a new bookclub that I can download to my IPOD. Best part - 2 books a month cost less than 3 packs of cigarettes now! Enjoy your music and your day - Congratulations! And I lived for these?

That's funny Rusty! Especially since my husband asked me today if I was taking the laptop to the bathroom with me too! ha. It sure does help though. Of course 10 minutes ago I was contemplating whether I was "really" ready to do this -- after Junkie did its thing, I realized duh, I have already done it! smoking and snoring?

Hey Quig - I don't know personally since I would never admit that I snore - actually hubby says I "purrrr", but my brother (who was a 3 pack a day smoker) says he doesn't snore nearly as much. Also, he has one of those machines for sleep apnea and his last sleep test went so well he doesn't have to use the machine. Quitside Story Chapter 5

Geez Ggregor - at that rate, you will be huge! 1000 pounds?! Whew! But even at 1000 lbs you won't look nasty holding and cigarette and in the end, isn't that what matters? Seriously though - I actually lost a LOT of weight my last quit because I was determined not to be one of those people that gained when they quit. I did great and reached my goal while on my quit. Just exercise and remember the calories when you reach for that fix to ease the craving. SF candy, fruit, cheese sticks are great choices. My fix for today are SF FF pudding and jello. Also, eat more frequently - good for metabolism anyway. Good luck! Gaining weight! :(

Aloha aloha! I am doing great on day 3 of my quit. Was euphoric earlier and the crashed into a million pieces an hour ago. But after a few minutes of well deserved self-pity (yeah, right!) I drank some water, chewed some gum and I was fine. About the weight loss, I joined Weight Watchers. I lost a total of 50 pounds and made lifetime so as long as I stay 3 pounds under goal it is free for life. Just my personal recommendation but I love it and trust me, I am back totally on program - I know how it sneaks up on you. Good luck and keep in touch! Top o' the Morning!

Josie- Hubby got rid of wire hangers the day I said I was going to quit! He's no fool! Thanks everyone! Had a moment a bit ago, but it's all good. Unhooked - we are kindred spirits, a sense of humor can get you through anything! Keep the stories coming! Sparky - I literally laughed until my belly hurt! Just the vision was too funny. Probably because AFTER I tore it up and made it off the floor, I actually thought that I should keep the butt for just one puff if I felt desperate. Crazy thinkin!
