Exercise and activity can help you through! Check with your doctor to come up with a plan that is right for you and your body. Start slow and introduce a healthy eating plan and exercise routine into your life. Drink lots of water and watch your portions, it will come to you, just be patient and perservere :) Josie, Support Specialist

These 1st 4 days of my quit have been accomplished mostly by staying glued to this site,,,,reading and posting my butt off! But, speaking of my butt, it's not getting any smaller by keeping myself glued to this site. Fears of facing my emotions from breaking up with my boyfriend last Monday,,, and fears of quitting this nasty habit have made me afraid to leave the house. I left today to go to mc donalds a block away but that's it for this weekend. I stayed close to this site b/c 1. it helps drown out the junkie in me and 2. I was afraid to feel my pain so I replaced smoking with reading and posting & 3. because I really needed to get more committed to my quit! Anyhow,,,I've been trying for the last month 1/2 since I started back trying to quit to get motivated to start exercising a little bit everyday. I really want that to become my new habit :) So anyhow my plan is to start tomorrow. Even if it's just 15 or 30 min's. Being depressed over my weight is not a good or postive feeling that will help me with my focus to stay smoke-free. So it's time to do something about it. Keep in mind I'm half way laying down while I'm typing this, lol. But I gotta start somewhere, so I'm getting it out of my head and putting it out here so that it's more of a committment to me, in hopes that I'll be able to do this tomorrow. And give ya'll and my fingers a break, LMAO! Wishing everyone a happy smoke-free week! One day at a time! I hope to make it so I can go to the bon-fire this Thursday and feel the sand in my toes. I have a lot to throw into that fire this week :) Thanks for everyone's support thus far! I gotta get motivated to start exercising! I wish I was rich cuz I'd hire a personal trainer & chef like Oprah did, lol. I wish I may I wish I might lose 20lbs over-night, lol. Just breathe..........ahhhhhhhhhhhh My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/16/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 4 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 80 Amount Saved: $19.20 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 9 Mins: 32 Seconds: 35
