almost done with day 3

congrats on day 3 Osto!!!! Awesome job. This is the tough part....soon everything will smell and taste fabulous. Maybe get some of those Rainer Cherries in season right now. YUM> About work people, yeah they just aren't excited for you are they? Same where I work. Here's the kicker, I used to be just like them, when my office mate quit a year ago, she knew I didn't want to hear it. She did it regardless, I will too and so will you. Meanwhile you have all of us and we are thrilled for you!!! Reward yourself, it totally helps. New here -but not to quitting..

welcome Leseratte :) one of my new coping skills John turned me onto is to crank Nickleback - Drive full volume, this really helps in the car. I have a cd at work and a tape for my car. as John said we quit together, on chantix, I did it because he came home with it and said he was quitting and I said OMG!! I called my DR, had him call in a prescription for chantix and picked it up right then. Obviously I also wanted to quit, but wasn't admitting it to myself or anybody else. That was a little over 2 months ago. John and I went thru hellweek together, on vacation with my Mother. jeez it was bad. See the whole quit wasn't planned, the vacation was. But we made it. Just remember you love that man - lol. I have no regrets, only positive things to say about quitting, I feel so good and people are telling me I look good, at almost 42 I am loving that. Read these threads, esp the coping threads, tons of excellent info here and wonderful people that want to help. My quit day

shutterbug (my dh is a photographer also :) ) you are just perfecting your quit is all, look forward, not back, that is where your smoke free life is. Next time, maybe, post here if you can or call a quit buddy, wait for replies before you do anything. BFS says this and it is great advice. It is worth all of this. We are in this with you :) Sue My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/3/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 68 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 680 Amount Saved: $119.00 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 12 Mins: 54 Seconds: 36
