Hi T,
Are you feeling a bit better, then? I hope so. I remember it at about 25 days being a bit tough.
It will get better, promise!

You've got some great reasons to give up smoking. I'm excited for you already!
Use the tools on this program, read the posts written here, post often yourself, be good to yourself, have some patience, and - hey presto- you'll be free of your addiction.
We'll be here to go through it, too!

I wonder if I'm an experienced enough quitter to be someone's mentor? I have a good ear...
Would be a priviledge to help and give to a website/organisation that I've received so much from.

Hi Dee,
Glad to see you have found the most powerful thing to help you, right here - that is to post here whenever you're not feeling great! See how great these people are, the advice here is just the best, isn't it??!! The moment you feel bad - SSC is there!
I really can't give you any advice, further than what's already written and everyone's quit is so different, as you have already gathered, I'm sure. But my own two pence worth, my own experience, was that, after the first three weeks, you start to feel a bit more in control of your emotions. It's then up to you to control the emotions!
The only certain thing I can tell you is - 'Stay close to this website - and you'll succeed'. Honestly! Find your allies in us and you will feel better before you know it.
Take some time to be good to yourself!

Well done for making it through your first couple of days, Chris!
I remember having some crazy dreams too, in the first couple of weeks - this can't do too much harm to us, fortunately!
Keep up the good work!

Hi Sharon,
As with anything in life, the first week of a new challenge is always the hardest. You need to stay focused and keep your resolve. Distraction is the key. Keep your mind busy from thinking of cigarettes. Having a cigarette now would reduce the difficult moments you have faced during the past 6 days into a complete waste of energy. You are nearly through with Hell Week - keep it up, Sharon!
We're right here with you, we know what you're going through.

Welcome to SSC Beanie!
Disturbed sleep patterns are something I've read a lot about on this site. I must admit that I didn't experience this, since nothing would stop me sleeping - my mother always said that I'd be able to sleep on the washing line!!! Our quits are all different - but we all share the same goal, to be rid of our addictions!
Be strong, it will get better!
