Here I go again!

Hi everyone! Well, here I am again only this time with a ton of determination. I can't believe that I let perfectly good quits fail in the past. How Stuuupid! Anyway, I am waiting the results of a chest xray from today. Keeping my fingers crossed that my 25 plus years of a pack a day will not show up. Regardless of the outcome, tonight is my last night of this stuuupid habit. I am so, so very sick of it!@! I've printed out the benefits to stop smoking to remind myself when times get tough why it is important to stay with it and would love to have some like buddies for this journey. Thanks for listening (or reading). May we all have the success that we are (or will be)working towards! All My Best, Joonie

Weighing in for 6/8

Hi quitters and losers! I know my weigh-in number is not accurate cause I've weighed on two separate scales. I will begin to use the same scale from now on. The new one reads 153. I have been using the elliptical machine every day for at least 20 minutes so maybe that has helped some. Random thoughts for new folks, or old I suppose. Long Post!

Isn't that FANTASTIC!!!you have not smoked 948 cigs! Gosh, think about the pile of cigs that would make. Wowsaa! The 2nd Part of My Quit

Okay Bingo, This is getting scary. I am doing the same thing. Looking to lose the extra pounds that I have accumulated along the way. During this quit, depending on the weight scale used, I have gained anywhere from 6-9 pounds. OUCH! So, I too am on the second part of my quit. Meaning, I need to get my wits about me and start the rest of my life. Hey, 40 days is just GREAT for you! Congratulations!!! You have a really good handle on this quit thing. I applaud you. SSC Waist Watchers Group

Hi losing gang, Okay, I didn't have the best diet today. I was on the road looking at boats so I did the fast food thing. I didn't eat until 3:00 this afternoon, I know, not a good thing. When I got home had salmon and salad. Better!
