Cassie: You're in your 4th week already! I know, it probably felt like 4 months, didn't it? Way to go! Are you using any NRT or medication? Have you worked the tools to the left on this site? SO helpful in keeping you on track. Keep us posted, ok? Keep the faith My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 101 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,063 Amount Saved: $808 Life Gained: Days: 13 Hrs: 6 Mins: 50 Seconds: 21

Way to go, Cassie! You handled that trigger SO well -- and it will make you even stronger the next time. You are exactly right -- who would it have hurt but you? You managed to step back from the situation and take a cold, hard look at the reality -- and you came up with exactly the right answer! That is so awesome! Keep up the good work and keep the faith My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 102 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,105 Amount Saved: $816 Life Gained: Days: 13 Hrs: 10 Mins: 7 Seconds: 59

Its ok Cassie, many people have slipped on their quits. The important thing is to get back up and learn from the mistakes. You say stress is a big trigger for you? Mine as well. Next time you get in a stressful situation go for a short walk take the kids make it a game for them like follow the leader or hopscotch between the cracks, count to ten that always works for me. And of course always come here and post, vent, rant, whatever. Just DON'T smoke. Take time out for you as well and reward yourself! Hope this helps ~Valic My Milage: My Quit Date: 11/1/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 85 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 427 Amount Saved: $450.5 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 1 Mins: 59 Seconds: 7
