Hello Everyone:
I have tried to quit about 7 times in the past two years and I am on the latest attempt and I am doing pretty good. I still have an urge to go buy a pack of cigarettes, but then I think how good I feel, how much easier it is to breathe, especially when walking distances, and how much money I have saved.
It is not easy, at all, I go to alanon mtgs too and I take the same message "one day at a time" with me every day. It will get easier I know that, I had quit for 6 years before. Wish I never started again, but I did. I have to think of the positives of not smoking, not of the negatives (wish I could just have ONE) of smoking.
To everyone out there struggling with this crazy disease also, keep on doing it, one day at a time. That's all we can do. One second at a time if necessary.
Thanks
Cassie
