When you wrote that your Dad lit up when they praised him for smoking just the one, it reminded me how it was back in the days when I couldn't even go an hour, much less a day! What a long way we've come, and hopefully he will too! Rusty :)

It's a fine line you will be treading between cheering him on and letting him do it on his own terms. You are an expert in this doing it your way. But you only became that way by doing it your way. You can't do it for him. You can't speed it along for him or spare him the pain. I think you should leave him alone, sit back and watch. In a few days, if he's been quit, then cheer him on. Otherwise, too much pressure. My humble opinion. Lady, I wanted to know that you have been strong through this and I am very proud of you. It hurts when someone so close can not see what they are doing to themselves. Your right there is always hope! Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
