After I'd been declined a routine request for a medical report, I called an administrative manager, who assured me I was entitled to having it go to any medical practitioner I wished. If I gave up, as I almost did, I'd end up "failing", which from the quote above means rejected my good ideals and objectives and principles.

It seems that I'm just short tempered. I went through red-tape hell just asking a simple question.

It seems that 3 different people give me different anwers to the same question, and when I ask one to speak to the other, they stonewall.

I'm also stuck in a "low class"(according to my less-than-tactfull former supervisor, who was promoted to a manager-good for her! - bad for the company) neighbourhood. So I have suck it up or commute to another neighbourhood for better service.

Sometimes reaching out hurts

Remind yourself regularly that you are better than you think you are. Successful people are not superhuman. Success does not require a super-intellect. Nor is there anything mystical about success. And success isn't based on luck. Successful people are just ordinary folks who have developed belief in themselves and what they do. Never - yes, never - sell yourself short.
