Missthing1974,
Firstly, hats off to you! You're doing great sticking to your weight loss plan.
Please do be careful. I've noticed your calorie intake keeps getting lower and lower. The key to successful longstanding weight loss is to make changes to your overall lifestyle by making small, progressive changes to your diet and level of physical activity.
Keep persevering.

Imallclear,
To count how many calories you are taking in, have a look at the nutritional label of packages. It tells you at the top how many calories are in a specific portion of that food.

Missthing,
God job today on the calorie count! You're very disciplined and should give yourself a pat on the back for sticking to your regiment.
You should also be tooting your horn for those 50 smoke free days! A reward is definitely in order today! Congratulations!

Miss thing,
You're doing a wonderful job! If you're doctor isn't giving you the adequate support you need then by all means seek out a second opinion.
Keep up the great progress! You're doing beautifully!

This is a Rainieism not medical knowledge or advise...
Phil, smoking also speeds your metabolism which will decrease the normal calories taken vs whats burned when you quit, like you have for 174 days!!! Your body should start adjusting itself to the new metabolism rate soon. It helps if you are able to increase your exercise...especially to do some light lifting of weights.
As always, exercise should be discussed with your favorite Doc.

Deli,
Let's try making good choices! If the food isn't in the house, you won't eat it, right? Take the time to make a list of items, before you go shopping and purchase veggies, fruits and low calorie snacks, don't forget the water!
