Quote of the Day Part Two

One setback, failure is not as hard to take.  A few failures all in a row are definitely something to think about and take a break.  Is it just bad luck, bad timing, bad preparation or what?  When this happens I do feel down for awhile.  For me, taking that break to figure things out is helpful.  You know, it's like taking a step back every now and then to survey the situation and then make a decision, a plan.  You should move forward and not let this latest failure define you as we know, it isn't all you.  And as they say, learn from it.

It's how you deal with failure that determines how you achieve success.

Just because something doesn't do what you planned it to do doesn't mean it's useless.
- Thomas A. Edison

I like this since I'm always looking for a "reuse" for things, rather than disposing of them.  It's something that has to do with my handing onto things on the one hand, and realizing there is only so much of things, on the other hand.  An example would be manufactured things which have to be disposed of, and can be reused, instead of going to landfills.

Thanks Davit!  Merry Christmas to you as well.  Sounds like the ideal Christmas day (minus the temp.) but at least you are inside and cozy by the fire.
Wishing you a peaceful year ahead.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Hope you are warmer than us. The sun is shining and there are fresh tracks in the fresh snow, but it is - 24C.

A bit nippy. The fire is doing its snap crackle thing and it is cosy. Lucky us, we are still allowed to burn wood.
I enjoy the smell of wood smoke and it gets me outside although I will be quick today.

Sunny, V and everyone,
Have a restful holiday

The only thing that stands between a man and what he wants from life is often merely the will to try it and the faith to believe that it is possible.
