Feel better, and stay quit. I enjoy your posts.

Happy Birthday FaithFreedom!
Looking forward to the festivities in your honor today! The whole ship is a-buzz...I have no idea what is in store for you, and even if I did, I wouldn't tell you and spoil the surprise. Oh, and the Magicopter and I are at your service today to fly wherever your big heart desires.
Have a wonderful, non-smoking day...think how good that cake will taste this year!

Happy Birthday
~Stevie Wonder
You know it doesn't make much sense
There ought to be a law against
Anyone who takes offense
At a day in your celebration
Cause we all know in our minds
That there ought to be a time
That we can set aside
To show just how much we love you
And I'm sure you would agree
It couldn't fit more perfectly
Than to have a world party on the day you came to be
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
(There's more, but this seemed to be the most fitting part)

I agree with Katy, you are quit after you smoke that last cigarette. The hard part is never picking it up again.
Katy, you are setting a good example. You never know who is watching, and what they will take from it.
Keep up the good work!

Well y'all,
We quit in February, we quit out of the love we have for ourselves and our love of life, and for others whom we love and those who love us. Sounds like a winner to me.
I've had those smoking dreams too. Even in the dream I am disappointed in myself, and happy to awaken and realize it was only a dream. It reinforces my resolve...
Whenever I think about smoking, even one little cheat that no one would ever have to know about, I think about those dreams. I then think about all of the non-smoking friends as the SSC who would be disappointed also, yet no less supportive and understanding.
I will never smoke another cigarette.

Welcome fagashlynne, we can use all of the medical professionals we can get on this ship. You have your work cut out for you!
Nurse29, don't replace smoking with knocking a few back. only joking kid. Try making grandchildren instead. LOL So glad you are still smoke free. You passed the test. What a team!
Faith, so glad you are feeling better and able to join us. Want to celebrate your birthday again since you were kind of down and out the first time? I wonder if there is any cake left...? You probably healed more quickly without the nic in your body.
I'm glad to know that chocolate is considered FOOD!!! I thought I had switched to jellybeans, but the bags I bought for Easter (which is only 5 weeks away) have suddenly disappeared. I must have forgotten where I put them. I'll look again.
The darned rabbit must have been here, taken every last jellybean, and left the empty bags in the trash! Imagine that!
Welcome aboard to all of the new passengers. It's bright and sunny here in Calif. for the race. I predict that somebody will win today!
Capt, when do we sail again? Don't leave without us...
Made it through another weekend...I am so proud! Let's all keep up the good work.

I am here! Things are going pretty well, even the chocolate addiction is easing somewhat. On to.....JELLYBEANS!
Currently wiping my eyes from reading the posting from Nurse29.
Cravings have eased, still have a couple per day, nothing major. If it stays this way, I know I can make it. If it gets harder, I will just have to rely on all of you for support and I know I can make it!
I now understand why it's called Hell week and Heck week. How apt!
Many thanks to all!
