Day 2, Someone shut the junkie up!!!

I made it thru a difficult conversation with my husband at lunch. We were on a topic that I would usually chain smoke thru. So, i get back to work, speeding past the stores on the way back to work and everyone is driving me crazy. And on top of that, I was typing this message out, had a real long message typed and hit ESC and it deleted the whole thing and I had to start over. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! I am chewing gum, drinking water and breathing...... Day 2 , both times has been a hard day for me, I just want to make it over this hurdle...... Day 2, Someone shut the junkie up!!!

Thanks everybody, it is finally easing up, of course, I did go to the store and buy me some chili cheese fritos! and peanuts. I know it's not a very good choice, but at the time I just needed something and didn't have time to be too choosy. It got me thru, but I can't keep doing that I'll put on 20 lbs in a week. You're right Dave - day 2 is a you know what! I'm still drinking water, and that's keeping me busy going back and forth to the restroom :8o: ! Trying to prepare for my after work drive now..... Ok OMT - I'm hangin in, I want to be in the New Year No Nics!! Question about withdrawal symptoms???

LOL Dave!! Thanks!! I feel like I'm 30 minutes behind my mind???? Probably a combination of things...the extra oxygen, wellbutrin, getting up much earlier these days.... :quest: My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/14/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 1 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 25 Amount Saved: $6.88 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 3 Mins: 19 Seconds: 32

This Sucks.

LLP - Girl, you were being vindictive! LMAO!! I so needed that laugh today. Den, - keep your head up girl, you're doing so good. Take ya a hot bath, find a good movie, snuggle up on the couch and eat some popcorn. I'm sure we're going to have ups and downs, it's probably just part of the process. I understand what you said about having that jealous thought for a second. The girl I work with goes outside and smokes on a regular basis and my husband has not been making it easy for me to say the least. Getcha some rest.... you're doing great! :) :eg: My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/14/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 1 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 25 Amount Saved: $6.88 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 3 Mins: 25 Seconds: 18

Day 2, Someone shut the junkie up!!!

I think I made it past the hump. I just kept drinking water and eating those chili cheese fritos. Will walk an extra lap in the morning to take care of them :p Thanks for posting when I needed you guys!! Tonight is better than last night so far, and 2 of my favorite shows come on tonight, so I will have plenty to keep me busy. End of day one, 5:00 trigger coming....

Day 2 drive home was a success! I still find myself doing things that are related to my old habit, ex. rolling my window down when I crank my car, reaching in my console, .... But, I'm sure that will stop soon. I think today, my body just knew it was get the nicotine today or it's all over with, because I was drinking plenty water to flush it all out! My boss's wife actually told me that I shouldn't be drinking so much water, that it was probably flushing out my nutrients. The junkie wanted to snap her head off... but I just smiled and drank the rest of my water..... :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/14/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 1 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 25 Amount Saved: $6.88 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 3 Mins: 26 Seconds: 14
