Thanks girls! and Mr. Kitty. I have b.b.kitty, so i don't think she would appreciate me getting another one as my 6th month reward! I am very aware of that monster, i can even feel him breathing down my neck sometimes! Today i am on day 15. The thing i like best is checking out my quit meter and seeing the money saved and life earned. I know that i no longer smell like smoke, nor does my room but other than that i have not felt any physical changes. I have been waking up every hour for the past week. Don't know if that is from not smoking or not. Anyway,,,just an update. Well Den, looks like you are kicking some a$$. Just be aware that the monster is hiding so watch out for him. As long as you keep doing what you are doing you will be fine. Rewards are great no matter how big or small. My six month reward was Mr. Kitty, but the biggest reward was that I stayed smoke free for six months. So baby steps and rewards. Keep the Quit Sparky This is Mr. Kitty My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/30/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 265 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,650 Amount Saved: $397.50 Life Gained: Days: 37 Hrs: 13 Mins: 22 Seconds: 58

Den, Now you know the whole Secret to quitting! I am just not giving in, that is all there is to it. It really helps me to come here and read what others are going thru, to get out of myself and maybe lend a hand or give what advice/suggestions a new person like me may have. Hope everyone has a smoke free weekend! That's exactly how you do this,by not giving in to the junkie! With that attitude, you will make it girl! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 321 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 8,025 Amount Saved: $3,386.55 Life Gained: Days: 42 Hrs: 3 Mins: 39 Seconds: 53

Den: Two weeks, you are almost there. I promise you that if you continue to believe in yourself as you have done, this process will become easier to bear. You have already proven to yourself that you can do this. Now is the time to congratulate yourself for believing in your own ability to overcome addiction. The ability to recognize that we are able to recreate ourselves in a positive ways is, for me, one of the best bits about being a human. You should be very proud of the work thus far completed. nonic My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 391 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 11,730 Amount Saved: $4,105.50 Life Gained: Days: 72 Hrs: 21 Mins: 15 Seconds: 32

Made it thru yesterday afternoon and last night - still alive and smoke free. Really had strong cravings but they are gone now. Good idea about the flowers Misty. I have often thought about doing that cause i think fresh flowers can really brighten up a place, i just haven't bothered in the past - A nice change to start now thou!!
