For me? and my quit, I wanted to throw everything I could at this demon. That is why under my doctors advice I am on wellbutrin and the patch. Sure wellbutrin may make it easier and the patch prolong the nicotine from leaving my system, but still it WILL leave. I thought I was shooting this addiction with both barrels...and certainly not halfway. But talk to your doctor....or if you are going cold turkey. More power to ya...either way you have my support---Kevin

Smoke use to smell good to me, still does while it is burning. But after the a person is done smoking the smell is horrendous! ( remember smelling like that). I do structural construction, However years ago I worked residential.....If you today put me on a jobsite with the smell of newly poured concrete, fresh lumber and a waft of coffee in the air on a cool morning...It would be more than I could bear. However that is alot of planets to line up---Good luck--Kevin

Feeling like a social outcast was one of my reasons for quitting...We went to disneyland over the summer...Yeah that was me hiding behind Pluto, burning one. I went to several Padres baseball games...This year you cannot smoke ANYWHERE in entire stadium, however, there is little nook, that the "scurge" of society was hiding in, puffing away. It really is quite embarrasing to have show the public your weakness like that. I'm glad I dont have to hide anymore
Your community may not have anti-smoking rules yet...but beleieve me, it's coming.
It will be great to be a non smoker at that point ,eh?
