Hi mikomi1
I still have little bumps on the tip of my tongue. I haven't
had them the whole time but actually right now I do have them
They are just a little bothersome - but they seem to come and go.
The sleeplessness I have had as well. I actually took Wellbutrin
for the first couple of weeks but went off of it because it made
my stomach upset. But have had a horrible time sleeping. So
I went back on it today - to see if it would help that and also
because I feel the crazies coming on! LOL! I've been going through
a frustrating time with husband who won't quit smoking, working
full time and going to real estate school at night - so I felt
like I needed something to take that edge back off - my cravings
have come up front and center. These are actually the worse ones
I have had - I just figured it was because everything else was so
stressful. So back on the meds I go.
You are really doing a great job with your quit! You should be
very proud of yourself. It's time for a reward -don't you think?
Maybe a massage, or just something out of the ordinary that is
a treat.
I have some friends that live near Wales - are you near there?
Take Care

Hi RKM -
So glad to see your post. You can do this!!!! I know that you can!!!
Just think of your children and what they mean to you...and all the
extra years you will get to spend with them because you quit smoking.
Stay close to the site the next couple of days, weeks, whatever it
takes not to smoke! Have some straws ready to suck air through,
Twizzles always worked for me,etc. Drink lots of water - for some
reason this really helps the craving. And promise yourself that you
will come here and yell for help...wait 5-10 minutes...before you
break your quit. I guarantee that craving will go away - tell the
junkie sitting on your shoulder to shut up and go away! Most people
will think you're crazy but we won't - we know how it is.
Thinking of you today -

Cuddles -
WAY TO GO!!! I tell you it's the hardest thing living with a smoker
isn't it? That junkie inside of us says - "well, it's just one and
then I won't do it anymore - who does it hurt?" I think we both
know the answer to that. It hurts YOU! You are continuing to get
stronger and stronger and protecting your quit. Don't even take one
out of the pack - it is not worth it.
