OMG, a junkie thought!

This is a great thread Shevie. I can say that I have been there and done that to all of you. Here is my twisted junk thought. Living with Pete's quit has some real conflicts that are just sympathy craves and knowing where she is coming from when she tells me that the craves are super strong. I thought to my self the other night way not just give in and then I realized where I was and who I was and that I have to be more attentive to my quit as well as Pete's until she is strong enough in her quit to stand alone. It is good people like you Shevie that are honest enough to relate the real process of quitting and the dangers of becoming too sure of ourselves. This is an excellent reminder that we all need to pay attention. Thank you Duffis duffis's Quit Stats Since Sunday, February 13, 2005, I've been smoke-free for: 1 Year(s), 50 Days, 17 Hours, 34 Minutes, 26 Seconds. I have saved $1,743.00 by not smoking 12471 cigarettes. By not smoking I have added 90 Days, 1 Hours, 30 Minutes, 8 seconds. to my life expectancy.

Sorry: I am about to jump off the wagon of quitting pain

Wow Adam! I go away for a week and this is what I come back to? I really hate to bust your bubble so I won't. You have received some great advise from some truly great people it is up to you to take it or leave it. I quit cold turkey after 58-60 years of non stop smoking a pack and a half a day. I went through hell, heck and blah weeks just like all those before me. By smoking you have damaged your mind, body and soul. Repair takes time and determination again your choice. Life is all about choice and there is no escaping that. Quit or don't, again it is your choice. I am going to leave you with a quote and I hope you pay attention to it. [quote] If you really wan't to do something you will find a way. If you don't want to do something you will find an excuse!
