You're doing great charlie girl! congrats on 25 days!
While the SSC is wonderful, I think of it as a necessity not a reward. I think you deserve another!! ;p
Stick around, learn all you can...read a bunch and post all you want or need! The support here is wonderful!
As far as chat goes...you can download the ssc instant messenger. Otherwise, the posting like this is how the site works.
We CAN do this!

Mrs. Payfer,
It's been said that quitting smoking is the hardest addiction to break. I don't know if that's true or not as I've never been addicted to anything else (except maybe food and the SSC :p ). I can tell you that this is the hardest thing I've ever done. It's also taken me many tries, much anquish and plenty of physical and emotional trauma to make it. And all that was before this, my forever quit!
Regroup and recommit yourself to the quit. Determine that you will fight the crave when it comes. Take control of your life back. Plan how to cope with stress and cravings without smoking. You've some experience already with behaviour modification...draw on that experience.
And one trick that works pretty good. Next time you feel like giving up...come here and post for help...and wait for 3 responses. If the urge doesn't pass...wait for three more.
We CAN do this...I promise it gets easier!

16. When half your prayers are for people you know by one (sometimes funky) name only! People who you have no idea what they look like or sound like, but who have hearts of gold.

I think Bubba's main point was education will increase your chance of staying quit.
If you haven't yet quit, learn about the addiction first and prepare. If you've already quit...it's not too late. Start your education now and you'll improve your chances of success!
Everyone here will support you through all your trials whether you go the 'college degree" route or do 'on-the-job training'.
Never quit quitting!
