Day 2

Hi, missjkh.I remember not feeling like myself , out of sorts or in a fog ,unable to vocus.
Becoming a Non Smoker is a lifestyle change as smoking is triggered by various things we do
through out our day.It does not mean we can never do these things again ,we just have to realize
we do not have to smoke to enjoy them.
Remember the first few days are the worst, get through them and remember how much of a struggle it was.
That is what kept me going as I did nor want to do it over.
Wishing you Strength

here?s the story

Well Working on it I am very thankful that you are "Truly and Totally here "
I was very moved by your story and the courage you had to live and share it with us.
My quit has been very simple in comparison to many here and the extra inner strength you and others have
needed has given me more strength knowing I do not have as big a battle so I can not fail.
They say there is a reason for everything and every action has a reaction.
I hope you reflect back on your writings and sharing here and see how many positive
reactions you will have set in motion.
Again Thanks and congrats again on your well earned 1 year .

Spring

Wow. Spring has always been a favorite time for me but also one of the busiest times.
With that comes so many triggers as I use to smoke when I did my yard work, camping, hanging out
on the patio and so much more as I only smoked when I was outside or in my car and if the sun is shinning I will be outside.
Its not that I really want a smoke ,I think it is just that I am reminded of it more and I am experiencing a sense of loss I think.
I will just have to remind myself more often "I will not smoke today or any other "
Can't wait to smell fresh Lilacs as a non-smoker again.

Quit Milestones

Hi Ashley. The milestone I am looking forward to is the 1 year.I have it in my head that at 1 year I will have gone through all my triggers
and I will have won the battle.I know I will still have to be on gaurd but I am hoping it will be less.
Gaining a whole year of life like breather would be wonderful as well.
