A couple of thoughts

I understand what working on it is saying. It can become another habit as we all kind of bond with our
quits as we help each other.
I know for myself I will be on here less through the summer as I become busier
and try to enjoy all the nice weather that I can.
I also know the site is here when I need it and will offer my support when I can
as I have received so much.
One positive way to look at it is that if you feel you need to fade back you are feeling very strong with your quit and that is
our ultimate goal.

What is really important

I hear you on the weight thing Sparky.I lost weight before my quit as I knew I would gain and I did gain everything back with my quit.
I liked the weight I had got down to before my quit so I am working hard to get back there.Weight loss is slow after you quit
but remember if you loose it slow it is more likely to stay off.Trying to loose it is another way to keep my mind and body busy , healthy
and no time to smoke.

Monday Morning Parade 5-13-13

Hey working on it , I wish I was that close. You must have thought I was at 352 but it was 252.
All is good though it is now 255 days and I did not smoke today or tonight as I was enjoying
a Fleetwood Mac concert  I was glad not to be one of the stinky people sucking back the nicotine
before they went in.
Life is Good.

Hard day today

Hi Hamlet. You are doing Great  "9 days ".For me those first bad days is what kept me going.
I did not enjoy them at all.I was not myself, couldn't concentrate,I was aggitated and knew I should do something to get my mind off of it but that
too was a battle to make myself but I did.
I kept telling myself after 3 days it will be better then after a week it will then 10 days and that is
what kept me going as I also kept telling myself I am not going to do any of those days again.
Before I knew it it was easier and has continued in that direction.
I just had an extreme weekend full of conflict which I had no control of it was just shoved in my face.
A voice started chanting somewhere in my brain that a smoke would solve everthing,I was quite surprised that
I was able to turn it off so quickly just by remembering the struggle I had gone through to get this far.
Don't give in,It is such a gift to give to yourself to keep going.

Pledging

I Pledge to stay quit for the rest of my days because I love smelling like my perfume and not a stinky smoke.
Because I love that my Grand Children give me really big hugs because I do not smell bad.
Because I am and feel much healthier.
Because I am adding to my life which means I can enjoy it even longer.
And because Lilac's smell even better !! Ahhh
