Struggling

Hi Sammy
I kept reminding myself how much I hated the first 2 weeks and that is what kept me going.I really wanted my quit and I did not want to redo those first 2 weeks.
Reading the posts really helps, you can see how other people made it through and see their milestones and tell yourself you can do it too.
Keep busy, keep strong.

Is driving in a car a trigger for you?

I followed most of your list as smoking while driving was a big trigger for me.
I used tic tacs. I have a short drive to work so 1 tic tac would last till I got there.
After 2 months I did not need the tic tacs.Driving is no longer a trigger for me.
My car smells great and stays way cleaner.

I dont leave until April. Having reward plans help make the smoke free days pass by faster.
The longer we are smoke free the more we see Life in general is more enjoyable.

What if? Part II

NOPE works for me too.I will not smoke today or any other day.It has been on my mind though , not sure if it is the nice weather sending more triggers.
Or maybe it is the demon trying to mess up my up coming milestone.I am a Non smoker and my life is so much better and this I must remember.
Strength to us all

Cleansing

I am wondering if I should have done some kind of cleanse?
I am at 168 days and have not coughed anything from my lungs.
I would think after 40 years of smoking there would be something ??
Is this one of those some do and some don't things ?
