Atleast you have a few extra dollars since you have quit smoking...does that make you feel any better? Does someone do your taxes for you? If someone does give them a call, they may be to blame as well. If it is you who prepares your taxes, call someone to do them next year! Thanks Martha, I thought it would never end, but it did. Now a new challenge has come up, our friendly tax folks have contacted me and advised me that I have not filed local taxes for the last 6 years and I need to pay up!! I had no idea I was supposed to file with the town I lived in, I pay a local tax where I work in the city, I thought the town I lived in went and collected...guess I was wrong, and according to them ignorance is not an excuse. Oh well, another stressful situation to deal with, and stress is one of my worst triggers, as I am assuming it is most peoples worst trigger. So the crave is back, but I'm dealing with it like a true quitter..LOL My Mileage Smoke-Free Days: 83 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,004 Amount Saved: $796.80 Life Gained: Days: 12 Hrs: 2 Mins: 10 Seconds: 36

pokerbrat, I'm happy to see things are on the up and up. I think a BIG reward is in order for getting through this with flying colors. Sure the flag was blue for a bit, but it's still flying :) All the best My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/5/2004 Smoke-Free Days: 1114 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 22,280 Amount Saved: $5,013.00 Life Gained: Days: 85 Hrs: 0 Mins: 24 Seconds: 44

Thanks Penitent, time is healing me a little at a time. At least I can walk through my place now and look at a picture on the wall and not break down like a blubbering lunatic. I think I remember hearing of that band a long time ago, are they an older band? 60's - 70's era? My memory isn't too good, a lot of extracaricular activities come along with playing in a rock band that play havic on the mind. :p My Mileage Smoke-Free Days: 82 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,946 Amount Saved: $787.20 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 22 Mins: 4 Seconds: 39

Hey pokerbrat, (and Unhooked) Try a bit of Argus by Wishbone Ash. The twin-guitar attack of Andy Powell and Ted Turner is doing it for me at the moment and it does go with relaxing baths and Green Tea......well, some of it! ;) Glad things are improving pb. Don't misunderstand me Unhooked, I played in rock and roll bands for over 14 years in my youth. I still love my rock and roll, and still remember seeing AC/DC in 1979 when I was 12...but for relaxation, I'll take the wood flute and the green tea. Too many accociations with rock and roll and beer for me, I'd be craving like crazy!!! Not my thing, pokerbrat! I'd be more like a beer, dance around the living room to some blasting AC/DC, and fall onto the couch exhausted! But whatever gets you through, big guy! It's great to hear you sounding a bit more positive & looking forward to something, pokerbrat & WOOHOOO!! for toughing it out through such a difficult time!
