Hey Everybody! I just got back from my trip to St Louis, to meet up with my 'rents who smoke like fiends. I am proud to say that my coping strategies all worked and my quit is intact. I'm 60 days smoke free!!!!!!!! It's soooo cool. :8|: I feel empowered, as predicted. Banana, I always knew you were a poet: "Alana Banana", right? Jean, good to see you 'round. Sadly, I haven't seen Lou P. Lou, either. But we have to realize that what we are doing is really difficult and some people may drop out from time to time. She may be taking a break from the site like you, Jean. Lou, if you see these posts, just know that we adore you. Even if you have slipped!!! We care about you and are here to help you get back to a smoke free life. And if you are still smoke free, WONDERFUL!! Just hit us with a post some time to say hi. 40 days, LOLO?! 42 days, Melissa?? I was able to just write a check for summer camp this year for my daughter. I didn't squeak by week by week and get behind on the bills to pay for summer care. That is a big deal for me. And we still have money to do things on the weekend. Since we live in a city that is pretty much based on water recreation, that is a big deal for us. Very rewarding to me. the money definitely greases the wheel a lot.
