I read somewhere that there are three co-addictives to smoking Caffiene, sugar and Nicotine. Supposedly, when we give up one, the others present themselves strongly. It also recomended quiting all three since they all work together. This book said it's the key to success...ugh...Theres no way I can quit all three, but keep that in mind when reaching for food, that its a natural supplementation to the lack of cigarrettes.
I've been on the gradually quitting thing, down to one a day and tomorrow is my quit date. And DAMN, I cannot stay away from the M&M's that my co-worker brought in. Thanks ED! I mean, I really crave them even more than a smoke right now. At least if we are conscious of the reason behind the craving, maybe we can supress it. Where is that damn gum...
