You are doing so well. You said it yourself - it is mental. it is, you dont have nicotine in your body anymore! Tell yourself tomorrow is another day. DISTRACT YOURSELF!! Hi Ann, 33 days is a great accomplishment! Some days, you just have to get back to basics. Use the same strategies that got you through your first week. Spoil yourself a little today to lift your mood. Food, shopping, whatever makes you happy. If you feeling a little anxious or tense, get moving. Just remember tommorrow is a new day, this will pass! Keep persevering, Danielle _______________________ The SSC Support Team

hope you're doing better, Ann. Exercise is a great mechanism to sooth the mind and soul. I love running personally. A good walk is always nice too. We have to do whatever it takes to bring the day to a victorious end. Books have been immensely distracting and comforting to me also - good, inspirational ones, in particular. You are doing great, regardless of how it feels. You've accomplished a lot and you need to treat yourself with kindness. I hit a big slump right around where you are in your quit - I've had many, but they do ease. Believe in yourself. Love yourself. REWARD yourself. keep fightin' the good fight - fish My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/21/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 203 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,113 Amount Saved: $1015 Life Gained: Days: 26 Hrs: 8 Mins: 20 Seconds: 59
