22 Months and Life Keeps Getting Better

Yes Life! 22 Months today and I am celebrating my ability to breath. I am so excited that 24 months is just around the corner. My reward today is that I could shovel snow like crazy yesterday and was still able to get through today with no huffing and puffing. WEEEEEHAAAAA! A happy camper here in snow country. Peace Phillip Rob47 congrats! See you tomorrow. :) :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/17/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 668 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 16,700 Amount Saved: $5,678.00 Life Gained: Days: 108 Hrs: 22 Mins: 55 Seconds: 20

Weekend Parade

LILLY! Provincial Masters is the local Masters Swimming competition. I am going to take myself there and compete in at least a couple of events. Something I would not have been capable of doing a meager 2 years ago. So swimming almost every day is now great and travelling even to hot and smokey places I would have never gone to and brazenly shovelling my snow laden sidewalks are all benefits of this blustery quit. I am so glad you posted this thread and thank you profoundly for your bountifully blissful spirit. Two years just round the corner. I have my eye out for ROB47 always nudging me from behind! TEEHEE. Cheers and CIAO Phillip PS Lilly I would gladly host you if you were to come and visit TO. Dreaming of the craggy and blustry howling Cornish moors. ONLY 2 more weeks ... JUST 14 more days!

Two more weeks and 14 more days. I will be at two years! Persistance, Pro-action, Passion... A few of the possible actions that have got me through. Persistant changing of action was what got me through. For the ability to be able to do that I am so grateful. I am so glad that as human beings we had the ability to choose. Just another few days and I will be just that much farther away from the world I lived in all those 700 plus plus plus days ago. Imagine 35 plus years of smoking ... longer than any other aspect of my life and yet, through persistant choice, I was able to change all of that. Congratulations to all of you quitters no matter if you are contemplating or you have thousands of days behind you. Quitting smoking is the best thing that I ever did for my life. To those of you on this quit journey I extend my hand and honour you for tackling a task that can be daunting and challenging but at the same time, life affirming, life saving and totally fulfilling. Just 14 more days and I will be at yet another major milestone. Sorry I don't get a chance to post very often and I do watch all the new and old quitters coming and going. I do feel and share the agony and the ecstacy of what happens on the journey to freedom from the addiction to nicotine. Hooray! A CHEER for life. Peace ;) Phillip My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/17/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 716 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 17,900 Amount Saved: $6,086.00 Life Gained: Days: 121 Hrs: 7 Mins: 54 Seconds: 7
