I also am anti-scale. Jeans are a good of not better indicator. I walk a couple of miles everyday and it seems to have gotten things back under control. I do think your body has to adjust to the quit. Also, when you are doing all the right things and you just can't understand why you continue to gain (women) can ask themselves if they are nearing that time of the month. That happened to me.
