NO OFFENSE NOTHING PERSONAL

I have seen myself in every single person, and prophet is a good word to describe them, that has crawled back to tell their story and asked for forgiveness and help. They did not have to give unconditionally for the cause of the greater good, and I think that is exactly what they did, and hope and pray that they are received in return. They could have just disappeared and returned, after an unconsoled self-beating, as a fresh new someone else. This scenario offers no giving and no receiving and a deprived, one-sided learning experience. These prophets offer compassionate insight. If this site is about aspiring to be free (from addiction), then I liken it to our Statue of Liberty and its welcoming inscription: "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore, Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed, to me: I lift my lamp beside the golden door." ...or maybe we should extinguish the light and leave them lost and imprisoned. ALL ARE WELCOME should be be the message sent out My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/16/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 52 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,050 Amount Saved: $145.6 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 2 Mins: 38 Seconds: 42

To give upt or not to not to give up, that ain't the question

Nonic, I have thought of the word "quitting" in this way as well, as it implies defeat. Trust me your not alone, symantics are very important, and affect us more than any of us realize. "Stop smoking" was the better way to say it that I came up with as well. Puts you in command. Good grief...

Looking, I went through that too the last time I quit and haven't gone through it yet this time either. I remember though finishing all of the "disinfecting" from smoking (which I am still going through...just today I cleaned out the inside of my car after almost 3 months) and coming to the point where all of the cleaning and ridding of cigarettes was over. I was like, "what next"? I was in limbo with my life and didn't know where to go next and missed the cigs as they gave it the ebb and flow that was missing. I guess that's a turning point we all will have to deal with. For me I hope something small will work and not a new house or a new job, but maybe a date sporting my new self. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/16/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 54 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,098 Amount Saved: $151.2 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 8 Mins: 10 Seconds: 52

I actually dream about a smoke ,,,, when sleeping

I regularly have dreams of smoking. But just for the record... Last night in my dream I picked up a lit cigarette off of the ground (for some reason it had lost its filter and was just the end) and I was determined to find a place to discard of it and prevent a forest fire!!! Of course I did.. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/16/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 54 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,098 Amount Saved: $151.2 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 8 Mins: 18 Seconds: 8
