Charlie girl, think back to all the reasons why you quit in the first place. They are all still important right? Having a cig. will not make ANYTHING better and you know it. It is easy to use a fight or a loved ones seemingly lack of support as a reason to smoke again. DON'T DO IT. You will feel horrible and all your hard work will be for nothing. You need to unwind and relax. Take a bath, go for a walk(without money),stay here and post, whatever you need to do to avoid these stresses right now. You have done great, you need to be strong and keep this quit safe. FOR YOU!! redrosie
Hang on Charlie girl, The calvary is on it's way. How long are you quit and what is your hurdle right now. Is it cravings or the stress with your hubby? Is it from lack of support? Stay where you are We'll all get you through this.redrosie
Hi HealerWithin. It's funny how our emotions are affected by our quits. I am a big softie who cries everytime I see people being loving towards each other. It can be t.v. shows, commercials, or even cartoons, (Disney movies are the worst!) but for some reason I haven't had any crying jags. But the 1 thing I have noticed is that I have been having on a daily bases these big
laughing spells. I mean the kind where the tears are pouring down my face. I laugh so long and so hard, I make everyone around me either look at me like I'm crazy or else they join in. Soon we are all just laughing at each other. It is really fun but weird. I wonder if anyone else is experiencing this emotion too?
You then go on to say you are now in the angry stage. I had a little of that but not too much. My hubby and kids have actually told me my moods have greatly improved since my quit. It makes me wonder how grumpy I must have been before. :p I'm sure, like your tears, the anger will fade as well. Keep Strong HealerWithin and let me be the first to congratulate you on 2 weeks. That's awesome!!!! redrosie

Hi Elle, First off congrats on your 18 day quit. You are so right when you say it is far better to post than to give in to your craves, you WILL feel like @*%$ if you give in. To everyone who for one reason or other is afraid to reach out and post when they are feeling weak, please do. It really will make the difference in your quit. There is always someone here who will extend a hand and advice to you. Keep Strong, redrosie
