I don't know if anybody watches Survivor on TV but they have a guy on there who normally smokes 3 packs a day and now he is on an island with no smokes and having a tough time. I hope he makes it.

Hey Bypass, I'd go with the mustard.
There is a list on here somewhere that has 100 things you can do instead of smoking. I printed it once but I may have eaten it....
This restless feeling will pass and just think of all you will have gotten done.

I used a combination of the patch and this web site. I quit the patch cold turkey instead of stepping down at 30 days. I had previously tried the patch twice and cold turkey three times and neither worked for me until I also sought out support. I finally found a combination that worked!

Present. Save me a spot when you get there. I feel pretty good except I need to learn new coping skills while driving in heavy traffic. I am having trouble controlling my middle finger.
Where is everyone else???

Congratulations on your quit Tennielle! It sounds like you have reached the end of your smoking rope and are truly ready to fight the addiction and WIN this time. You have tons of support here from people who know what you are going through. Your friends and family will come around when they see you doing it for the right reason. YOU.

"A friend of mine is cutting down gradually and only smokes after a meal. He is currently eating 20 meals a day!"
