CJ, 100 days! That is great! And Kizzer is 91 and here I am on the same track, bringing up the rear. I have noticed in the past week that my cravings meter is "0" instead of the usual "1". Sweet. I was going to get my teeth whitened at my 6 month anniversay but I couldn't wait, I did it already and I deserved it. I love the side effects of not smoking: my skin looks great, I smell good, I can run up four flights of steps at work, my nails are healthier looking, I have lost weight and my self esteem is great and it shows. Anyone who is considering quitting, do it now. Don't wait! You will love the results.

I am 50 days smoke free today. I feel great! The "quitzits" finally cleared up and my skin looks great. I am still panting after climbing the steps at work but my time is getting a LOT better. I have lost weight because I have all this extra time and I spend it planning and cooking healthy meals. Quitting smoking has done wonders for my self esteem too. Nice.

I applaud the companies that offer quit smoking programs even if they don't prohibit smoking. I find it strange that with all the anti-smoking campaigns there are very few programs being offered to help people quit smoking. I wish I could have checked into a rehab for a couple of weeks when I quit and I'll bet my family does too. :)
It will be interesting when obesity surpasses smoking as the number one preventable killer. Do you think companies will have scales at the doors?

Elgino, Congrats on being smoke free for two months! I used the patch for 30 days and I felt great. When I stepped down to the next level of nicotine the withdrawal was so bad for me that I decided to go cold turkey and get the suffering over with all at once. Looking at my quit meter that showed my cravings during that time, it took me a week to get back to "normal" with the first three days being the worst. I have been fine since. Hang in there. You are doing great!
