Dear Shadow, You will not have a cigarette in 20 years. By then, it won't even be a thought, just a fleeting shadow (no pun intended). The habit of years dies hard, but dies. Hang in there and continue to be proud of your great accomplishment.
Not cravin', never cavin'.

Lady, Glad to hear it was a thought and not an action. You are allowed to think about smoking all you want. You just cant smoke. You can think about how:
It makes you stink
Kills you slowly
Wastes your hard earned money
Rules where you go and how long you can stay
Saps your energy
Makes you cough
Hurts you children
Or, you can keep your quit (which, of course, I know you will) and be more healthy, wealthy, and wise. Your choice. Make it the right choice.
Hugs to you,
Hummy

Hi Texan, I can definitely relate to your symptoms. I started sleeping again after about 20 days. Just took my body a while to figure out what was going on. Try some chamomile tea. It might help. Hang in there, things will get easier.

You know what Bob? Your 11 month quit is grand, but your greatest accomplishment is the number of us youve carried along with you during your quit. Youre always there for us thanks.
